The research, categorized as Research and Development, involved class X students and Arabic language teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Nuris in Jember Regency, East Java. The teaching materials underwent five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, including the validation of assessment instruments and analysis of validation data. Research findings on the development of teaching materials grounded in local cultural content unfolded through distinct phases. These included the design of teaching material products, systematically organizing the primary study materials; the presentation of trial results for Arabic language teaching materials infused with local culture, featuring regional song culture and images of the surrounding environment to engage student interest; and the analysis of expert assessments and student responses to these teaching material products. The unique impact of Local Culture-Based Arabic language teaching materials on self-regulation was evident in students' adeptness at overcoming learning challenges, practicing self-regulation and enhanced focus, aiding comprehensive understanding of various ideas and subjects. This proficiency enabled them to apply their knowledge in practical scenarios and fostered creativity in overcoming hurdles in learning to read Arabic texts.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnalpasca.uinkhas.ac.id/index.php/IJIE/article/view/1904Implementing The Arabic Language Curriculum for The Purpose of Studying Fiqh and Hadith in The Language Preparation Department at Imam Shafi'i University, Jember2024-01-06T21:58:13+07:00Triadi Wicaksonowicaksono.triadi4@gmail.comNisa Fitrianinisafitriani330@gmail.com
Current migration often represents a quest for self-betterment and increased religious commitment, mainly accomplished through Arabic language study. This language emphasis stems from the Quran and Sunnah being in Arabic, constituting the core teachings of Islam. Muslims must grasp the foundational elements of Islam, making proficiency in Arabic essential. Learning the language is not merely a duty but a vital prerequisite for understanding and fulfilling the obligations outlined in the Quran and Sunnah, emphasizing the significance of studying Sharia. In a scholarly exploration of motives for learning Arabic, 86% to 98% of respondents were motivated by a desire to learn Islam and gain knowledge of Islamic civilization. This study seeks to outline the application of the Arabic language curriculum specifically designed for studying Fiqh and Hadith within the Language Preparation Department at Imam Shafi'i University in Jember. This study employed a qualitative approach to comprehend the overall experience of the research subject. It utilized descriptive linguistic expressions within a specific natural context, employing diverse scientific methods. The results show that teaching Arabic for specific purposes is segmented into two stages: beginner and advanced. Each stage involves distinct materials and instructional hours. Likewise, there are differences in credit hours between the standard Arabic language program and the specialized program for specific purposes.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnalpasca.uinkhas.ac.id/index.php/IJIE/article/view/1902Analysis of Fiqih Textbooks for Madrasah Aliyah Grade X : A Contextual Learning Review2024-01-02T16:56:48+07:00Abd Muisabd.muis2023@gmail.comMursalim Mursalimsalimabuya@gmail.com
Improving education quality is a crucial policy in Indonesia, yet Fiqh education in Madrasah Aliyah faces challenges due to potentially unengaging teaching methods. Textbooks play a pivotal role as the primary source of knowledge. This study evaluates the appropriateness of the Class X Fiqh Textbook in the context of contextual learning, aligning teaching material with real-world scenarios for practical student connections. The article specifically focuses on analyzing Class X Fiqh Textbooks in the context of contextual learning. This exploratory and descriptive study uses checklists and documentation to analyze data, incorporating theoretical insights from literature studies. The findings reveal the absence of the constructivism element, the presence of standardized procedural topics like Hajj, Umrah, Qurban, and Aqiqah, and predominantly conceptual material in discussions about wealth ownership release, usury, banks, and insurance. Consequently, students acquire knowledge without a genuine understanding of the content. The findings reveal a deficiency in constructivism within Grade X Fikih teaching materials, particularly in conceptual areas like asset ownership transfer, usury, banks, and insurance. Procedural content related to Hajj and Umrah, Qurban, and Akikah is already standardized. This gap may lead to students acquiring knowledge without a thorough understanding. To enhance comprehension, adjustments or additional constructivist elements are essential in the learning process.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnalpasca.uinkhas.ac.id/index.php/IJIE/article/view/1900The Use of Timetable Learning Media to Enhance Student Engagement in Mathematics for Grade II A at Baiturrohman GMI Jember Elementary School2024-01-06T22:03:51+07:00Rizki Amaliaramalia1104@gmail.comRobiatul Hasanahrobiatulhasana70@gmail.com
This research is a qualitative study that explores the use of a timetable board as a learning tool to enhance student engagement in Mathematics, specifically the topic of time units, for Grade II A students at Baiturrohman GMI Jember Elementary School. The objectives of this study are to determine 1) The process of using the timetable board in teaching Mathematics, focusing on time units, for Grade II A students at this school, and 2) The improvement of student engagement in Mathematics, particularly in the topic of time units, through the use of the timetable board in Grade II A at this school. The data collection techniques include lectures (material delivery), observation, discussion, tests, and documentation. The subjects of this study are 18 students in Grade II A. The implementation of the learning activities using the timetable board as a teaching aid is deemed successful due to the students' significant curiosity during the learning process. This curiosity has led to increased student activity during the learning process, with a majority of students showing a 50% improvement in understanding the material related to time units in Mathematics. In conclusion, this research suggests that using the timetable board as a learning tool effectively enhances student engagement in Mathematics, particularly in the topic of time units, for Grade II a students at this Elementary School.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+07:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://jurnalpasca.uinkhas.ac.id/index.php/IJIE/article/view/1917Applying the Guess-the-Animal-Name Game Method in the IPAS Subject for Grade 3 at MI Nurul Islam Gedangmas, Randuagung Subdistrict2024-01-06T22:04:48+07:00Silfia Aisatun Maisiahsilfiamaisyah513@gmail.comAdinda Shofiatul Hasanahadiindashofia@gmail.comMuhammad Suwignyo Prayogowignyoprayogo86@gmail.com
Learning through game-based methods is a crucial aspect of the learning process because it can create a dynamic learning environment, fostering an enjoyable, serious, and relaxed atmosphere.
