However, in reality, students often feel bored because learning is mostly conducted using the lecture method alone. The subject of Al-Qur'an Hadith is not only about understanding but also about knowing and memorizing verses related to the material taught. Therefore, a teacher must be able to choose enjoyable teaching methods that can enhance learning outcomes and students' memorization abilities. One effective method to help students memorize and understand the verses of the Qur'an is the card sort method, which involves using index cards containing Al-Qur'an Hadith material that is then discussed in their respective groups. This aims to assess students' memorization strengths and understanding of the verses of the Qur'an they have studied. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that by using the card sort learning method supported by various other methods such as lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, students will be more active and enthusiastic in learning. The evaluation of the learning process can be seen from students' activity in discussions, cooperation with their groups, and their attitude in answering questions from the teacher. Thus, the card sort method can enhance students' understanding and memorization of verses related to the material and meet the desired targets.
Firli Oktavia Nur Arifin ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2024-12-21 2024-12-21 3 2 71 80 10.35719/ijie.v3i2.2166 Exploring Educational Values in Pekalen Rafting Tourism as a Social Studies Learning Resource on Environmental Diversity at MTs Negeri 9 Jember https://jurnalpasca.uinkhas.ac.id/index.php/IJIE/article/view/2163
This research is motivated by the importance of real experience in learning to improve students' understanding of teaching materials, especially in environment-based contextual learning. Despite numerous studies on the pesantren's economic role, we still lack a comprehensive understanding of how Islamic education directly impacts the management and sustainability of BUMPes. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews with BUMPes managers, involved students, and teachers at the pesantren. We also obtained data by directly observing the business activities conducted by BUMPes. The research findings indicate that Islamic education provides a strong foundation for BUMPes managers in applying sharia economic principles, such as justice and transparency in transactions. Additionally, the students involved in BUMPes experience an increase in managerial skills and understanding of sharia financial management. This research also identifies the challenges faced in the implementation of Sharia economic principles, including the lack of resources and external support. Thus, this research emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic education and sharia economics to support business development in the pesantren environment. We expect the results of this research to aid in the development of the educational curriculum in pesantren and offer valuable insights for policymakers to support sharia-based micro-enterprises.
Ahmad Afif ##submission.copyrightStatement## 2024-12-26 2024-12-26 3 2 125 136 10.35719/ijie.v3i2.2207
