Therefore, there is a need for learning media that can enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts, one of which is fraction card media. This study aims to analyze the effect of fraction card media on students' understanding of mathematical concepts in third-grade Mathematics learning at SD Muhammadiyah Jembrana. The research method used is quantitative with an experimental approach. The research population consists of all third-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Jembrana, totaling 34 students. The research sample was selected using a random sampling technique, with 19 students from class III-A as the experimental group and 19 students from class III-B as the control group. Data collection techniques included pretests and posttests. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Independent Sample T-Test with the assistance of SPSS 23 software. The analysis results showed that tcount = 2.692 and ttable = 2.027 at a significance level of 0.05. This indicates that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. In conclusion, the use of fraction card media has a significant effect on students' understanding of mathematical concepts in fifth grade at SD Muhammadiyah Jembrana. Fraction card media has a positive impact on students, enhancing their understanding of the material, fostering critical thinking skills, and encouraging them to be active and skilled in solving problems related to mathematical concepts, especially in fraction material.</em></p> <p><em><strong>Keywords:</strong> Mathematical Concept Understanding, Fractions, Fraction Card Media</em></p> <p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p> <p><em><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></em></p> <p><em>Rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas III di SD Muhammadiyah Jembrana pada pembelajaran Matematika disebabkan oleh minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa, salah satunya adalah media kartu pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media kartu pecahan terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas III di SD Muhammadiyah Jembrana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas seluruh siswa kelas III SD Muhammadiyah Jembrana yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik Random Sampling, dengan 19 siswa kelas III-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 19 siswa kelas III-B sebagai kelas kontrol. This research aims to compare interactive comic media to improve reading comprehension for elementary school students. Researchers found that students lacked the intention to read. The research method used was a literature study which collected information and data from various sources. Data analysis in this research uses qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on literature review studies in a number of journals, the presence of comic media can increase the literacy of elementary school students. From the results of the analysis of several studies, it can be concluded that comic media is able to improve literacy skills in elementary school students. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Berdasarkan studi literatur review pada sejumlah jurnal maka dengan adanya media komik dapat meningkatkan lierasi siswa sekolah dasar. Dari hasil analisis beberapa penelitian dapat tarik kesimpulan bahwa media komik mampu meningkatkan kemampuan literasi pada siswa sekolah dasar. The research employed a qualitative approach with a field study method. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed through three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of the study indicate that the use of puzzle media in SKI learning can effectively develop 4C skills, namely critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication. Students demonstrated improved critical thinking skills in problem-solving, creative thinking in assembling and understanding puzzle content, as well as enhanced collaboration and communication skills while working in teams. The implementation of this media successfully transformed SKI learning, which was previously perceived as monotonous, into a more engaging and interactive experience, thereby increasing students' learning interest.The conclusion of this study is that puzzle media not only facilitates better understanding of learning materials but also fosters essential 21st-century skills. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode penelitian lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tiga tahap utama: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media puzzle dalam pembelajaran SKI mampu mengembangkan keterampilan 4C, yaitu berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam memecahkan masalah, berpikir kreatif dalam menyusun dan memahami materi puzzle, serta kemampuan kolaborasi dan komunikasi selama bekerja dalam tim. Implementasi media ini juga berhasil mengubah pembelajaran SKI yang sebelumnya dianggap monoton menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif, sehingga meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media puzzle tidak hanya membantu peserta didik memahami materi pembelajaran dengan lebih baik tetapi juga membangun keterampilan esensial abad 21. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, educator readiness, and resistance to changing traditional teaching methods are still obstacles. This study examines the potential and challenges of implementing Artificial Intelligence in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, using the literature research method. This research method uses a qualitative method, namely directly observing class 2B MIN 2 Banyuwangi students by conducting Classroom Action Research (PTK).</em></p> <p><em>The results of the research show that two learning media are effective in increasing students' understanding of the material about recognizing feelings. The use of interactive PowerPoint media provides significant results in increasing student motivation and participation during learning. Apart from that, the use of card boards has also been proven to be able to help students who have a kinesthetic learning style.
