Vol 6 No 2 (2023): Indonesian Journal of Islamic Law

These papers explore the nuances of Indonesian and Islamic family law, covering topics from polygamy's compatibility with state law to the influence of Saad al-Dzari'ah principles on marriage age policies. The authors examine the social impact of interfaith marriages, advocate for gender equality in inheritance laws through Muhammad Shahrur's interpretations, and assess legal protections in out-of-court divorces and mediation's role in divorce cases due to physical incapacity, particularly in Banda Aceh's Sharia courts. We are proud to present some of these articles to you!
