Call for Reviewers and Editors

The Indonesian Journal of Islamic Law (IJIL) is inviting applications for the positions of reviewers and editors. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a keen interest and background in Islamic law to contribute to the advancement of scholarship in this field.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback on manuscripts, assess the quality and rigor of research, and determine the relevance and originality of submissions. The review process will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of the journal.

  • Editors are responsible for the overall content curation, managing the peer review process, and ensuring the selected articles align with the journal's themes and academic standards. Editors will also work closely with authors to refine articles and prepare them for publication.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in Islamic law or related fields; PhD holders are preferred.
  • A strong publication record, demonstrating thorough expertise in Islamic law.
  • Previous experience in peer reviewing or editing for academic journals is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in academic English, with excellent writing and editing skills.
