MANAGIERE: Journal of Islamic Educational Management is a peer-reviewed international journal committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. This statement outlines the ethical responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, editorial board members, and the publisher. It is based on the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication
The publication of articles in this journal contributes to the development of a reliable and respected body of knowledge. Ethical publishing practices ensure the credibility of scholarly communication and reflect the quality of research conducted by authors and their institutions.
The publisher, Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, is committed to safeguarding ethical standards at all stages of publication. Editorial decisions are independent and are not influenced by commercial or financial considerations.
Allegations of Research Misconduct
Research misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, citation manipulation, and plagiarism in the conduct or reporting of research. When misconduct is suspected, the editorial team will follow COPE guidelines to investigate and resolve the issue fairly and transparently.
Manuscripts found to contain misconduct will be rejected. If misconduct is identified after publication, appropriate actions such as corrections or retractions will be taken and clearly linked to the original article.
Investigations may involve communication with authors, consultation with experts, and, where necessary, collaboration with relevant institutions to ensure the integrity of the scholarly record.
Publication Decisions
The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are accepted for publication. Decisions are based on the scholarly merit, originality, and relevance of the manuscript, in accordance with journal policies and legal requirements.

Editors evaluate manuscripts based solely on academic merit, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or political beliefs.

Editors and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any information to unauthorized parties.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Editors and reviewers must not use unpublished information disclosed in submitted manuscripts for their own research without the author’s explicit written consent. All parties must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the evaluation or publication of a manuscript.
