Review Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to MANAGIERE: Journal of Islamic Educational Management undergo a blind peer-review process. Reviewers are responsible for evaluating the quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript for publication.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  1. Expertise: Ensure that the manuscript matches your area of expertise. If not, please inform the Editorial Office.
  2. Timeliness: Reviews should be completed within 2 weeks. If additional time is required, notify the Editorial Office.
  3. Conflict of Interest: Declare any potential conflicts of interest before reviewing.
  4. Plagiarism: Report any suspected plagiarism or ethical concerns immediately.

Evaluation Criteria

1. Structure and Presentation

  • Title: Clearly reflects the content of the manuscript
  • Abstract: Accurately summarises the study
  • Introduction: Includes background, research questions, and relevant literature
  • Compliance: Follows the journal’s author guidelines

2. Content Quality

  • Originality and novelty of the study
  • Contribution to knowledge and academic discourse
  • Relevance and adequacy of theoretical framework and references

3. Methodology

  • Clarity and appropriateness of research design
  • Accuracy in data collection and analysis
  • Explanation of any new or innovative methods

4. Results and Discussion

  • Findings are clearly presented and logically structured
  • Appropriate analysis and interpretation of results

5. Conclusion

  • Provides a clear summary of findings
  • Includes relevant recommendations
  • Avoids repetition of results

6. Tables and Figures

  • Relevant and clearly presented
  • Include proper citations or sources

7. References

  • Follow APA style
  • Preferably published within the last 10 years
  • Minimum 80% from journal articles

8. Writing Quality

  • Clear, concise, and academically appropriate English

Final Recommendation

Reviewers are required to provide one of the following decisions:

  • Accept — suitable for publication
  • Minor Revision — requires minor improvements
  • Major Revision — requires substantial revision
  • Reject — not suitable for publication
